Market in East London

Anyone that has been to London can let you know that shopping is both confusing and a lot of fun depending on how well you know where you want to head. The good news for those who like bargains and plenty of unusual items will find plenty of local markets spread throughout the city of London. About 3km to the west of Marble Arch is the Portobello Market which is one of the most famous markets in London and easily reached by bus or by the tube. You can find the market open six days a week and an antique market on Saturday.

Edinburgh is a great place to head if you want to spend a week away from the city life given the fact that it offers both a New and Old Town with plenty of great quirky shops and boutiques in both to make every day full. However, outside of the traditional boutique stops, you may want to keep your eyes open for many of the great vintage shops spread out across Edinburgh because at these antique shops you will often find great deals and fabulous pieces that are one of a kind.
